THE BRUNCH BALL

On April 3rd, Xavier Lewis seeks out Mercedes Estrada, Levi Kramer, Robin Youngblood, [VOLUNTEER D] to talk in person about organizing a fun little prank later in the month. Subsequently, they come up with the idea for The Brunch Ball and spend the next weeks planning, recruiting, coordinating and trying to make sure everyone knows how to at least fake a ballroom dance.

Recruitment will primarily be through word of mouth, with organizers attempting to keep the date and details, at least, secret until the last moment. If you are looking for an excuse, please by all means assume that Xavier dodgily hit you up to come to some secret "cool" kids meeting. He will absolutely be reaching out to Ribbonfins, LARPers, Casey's D&D group, D+F members and any non-Ribbonfin friends for sure. I'm not gonna put a cap on participants, unless this explodes??? So, have fun.

On Thursday, April 20th, participants will show up to lunch wearing robes/heavy coats to hide their formal attire. Musicians will have brought and hidden their instruments earlier in the day. Ten minutes into the meal, musicians begin playing a [Waltz/Tango/Rumba] that they had been practicing, all the other participants throw off their robes, find their partner (or try to get a non-participant to join them) and begin to dance.

After the song is complete, all participants return to their seats as though nothing out of the ordinary has happened and finish their lunches as normal. They may be able to be goaded into an encore, however.

NOTE: If you want one of the organizer slots, please let me know. JESSE AND ROBIN GET PRIORITY since they've already discussed improv IN THIS THREAD from what feels like a million years ago.
NOTE2: Xavier will be seeking permission from Mr. Merrill and assistance from Prospero. He may or may not ask Merrill to participate. I need to mod dropbox that. Please remember to do that, me.

OMG I just saw that you asked for Volunteer B. I will add Levi to that as well!!! SORRY. I have poor reading comprehension ugh.
